Agent and producer GINA HOLE recently produced a shoot for INSTYLE magazine, featuring lead singer HILARY SCOTT of the country cross-over band LADY ANTEBELLUM . Lady Antebellum was in town opening for TIM MCGRAW . The shoot took place at the FOUR SEASONS HOTEL in Downtown Vancouver, in their newly rennovated Prime Minister and Royal Suites. Veteran makeup artist NORMA HILL-PATTON was the Head Makeup Designer for much awaited film adaptation of celebrated TV series THE A-TEAM, this time starring actors BRADLEY COOPER, LIAM NEESON, and JESSICA BEIL. Norma had a great time working with such a fantastic team right here in Vancouver. The A-Team will be out in theatres in June 2010.
DAVID ELLINGSEN is part of a group exhibition opening Saturday, April 3rd and running until May 5th at the Robert Berman Gallery in Santa Monica, California. “Another Nude Show” is running in conjunction with the MOPLA Awards (Month of Photography LA) and the XTO Awards and also features the work of Joel Peter Witkin, Ruth Bernard and Tracey Emin, among others.

Make-up, Hair and the Agency Experience Make-up artist and hairstylist Sonia Leal-Serafim demonstrates quick, beautiful high-fashion make-up and hair for editorial and advertising photography. She will speak about being a working make-up artist in the Canadian fashion and advertising industries, and she will explain why it is essential in today’s market to do make-up and hair equally well for photo shoots. Leal-Serafim will also discuss having agency representation and the relationship between agent and make-up artist. Leal-Serafim is a member of the Giorgio Armani Master Face Designers Club and will use all of the latest Giorgio Armani make-up products in her demonstration.

Hair stylist DAN NGUYEN has just returned from MILAN FASHION WEEK where he worked with iconic hair stylist ORIBE on the GIORGIO ARMANI and EMPORIO ARMANI FALL 2010 shows. Dan was personally asked by Oribe to work the Armani shows in Milan and was honored to be working beside him and his team. Congratulations Dan!

Makeup artist and hair stylist SONIA LEAL-SERAFIM worked on YOUNG ARTISTS FOR HAITI, a benefit music video produced by renowned Canadian producer BOB EZRIN. Canada’s youngest and brightest musicians got together to record a revamped version of hip-hop artist K’NAAN’s “Wavin’ Flag”, to benefit the victims of the Haitian earthquake.
Sonia had the pleasure of working with NIKKI YANOFSY, CANADIAN TENORS, SAM ROBERTS, JACOB HEDLEY, TOM COCHRANE, ESTHERO, FEFE DOBSON, EMILY HAINES, and JAY MALINOWSKI, among many others.
Nail artist CHRISTINA CULVER’s work is on the Australian Stamp! Christina painted Australian Olmypic champion TORAH BRIGHT’s nails gold, right after she won her gold medal in the women’s half pipe at the 2010 Vancouer Winter Olympic Games. Congratulations to Torah…and Christina!
