Congratulations to photographer DAVID ELLINGSEN, whose work has recently been acquired by DANA-FARBER/HARVARD CANCER CENTER for their extensive art collection. Below are the three fine art photographs for the acquisition entitled “Six Stones”, “Three Stones” and “Cormorants Georgia Straight.”
The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is a treatment facility located in Boston, MA. They collect artwork from all over the world, which is said to be almost a 9-month process of finding the exact pieces to hang in their buildings: “We believe that art helps and encourages the healing process for patients and their families,” says chairperson Jane Mayer of The DFCI. David Ellingsen is honoured to be included in their collection.
