LEILA BANI has quickly become one of the Canadian fashion industry’s most talented and exciting stylists. She has been especially busy this season shooting editorials for magazines such as CHATELAINE, FLARE, DRESS TO KILL, UMM, PYRAMID POWER, SNEEZE, PIG, ION, ELEMENTE, FITNESS, & ZINK, with the latter editorial being an award winner in the FASHION & BEAUTY category of the 2009 photography awards edition of APPLIED ARTS magazine.
Leila’s talents have been sought after for advertising for CRIME STOPPERS, BC LOTTERY CORP, BC HYDRO, PARK ROYAL CENTRE, LEONE, SOUTHGATE MALL, ORB, NOEL ASMAR COLLECTION, LILY + JAE, BANANA REPUBLIC, DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY, HT NATURALS, THE GAP, & JOE FRESH.
Recently Leila had the pleasure of styling DIANA KRALL for the cover of CHATELAINE magazine. Diana also had Leila source gowns for her various events including the OSCARS/VANITY FAIR after party and the DIANA KRALL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION fundraiser.

Stylist LEILA BANI styled reknowned songstress DIANA KRALL for the May 2009 issue of CHATELAINE magazine. Diana shared the stage with her two little boys with husband ELVIS COSTELLO.
LEILA also worked with DIANA sourcing gowns for her to wear to her performance at the Vanity Fair Academy Awards Party and for the Diana Krall Hospital Foundation fundraiser, which featured legendary musician ELTON JOHN.

In an emotional reunion, FARMER’S DAUGHTER is back in the studio after a seven-year hiatus. The successful country trio boasts two gold albums, a Juno award, two CCMA awards, Big Country awards, and numerous BCCMA and Westcoast Music awards. DEXTER QUINTO shot members ANGELA KELMAN, JAKE LEISKE, and SHAUNA RAE SAMOGARD to promote their long-awaited comeback.

Award winning photographer DAVID ELLINGSEN’s fine art work was recently celebrated at CAMERAWORK GALLERY in Portland, Oregon. The exhibition featured his photography series Hibernus…a darkly beautiful collection of plant studies. CAMERAWORK GALLERY is the oldest fine art photography gallery in the United States. They are a community-based fine art photography gallery that has exhibited shows continuously since 1970.

The subjects for this series were collected in winter during the final stages of their being. Chosen for their beauty of form and graphic possibilities, they represent a respect and appreciation for the worth of the latter part of their life cycle.

Sonia has been requested by actresses such as KRISTEN KREUK for this month’s editorial shoot for MEN’S FITNESS magazine, and for the Asian movie ad campaign: STREET FIGHTER, THE LEGEND OF CHUN-LI. She has also done men’s grooming for personalities such as Canadian Premiere GORDON CAMPBELL, Mayor GREGOR ROBERTSON, and NHL star RYAN KESSLER.

A very exclusive group of elite makeup artists in Canada, the club only includes a maximum of 10 artists from the entire country.
