Here is the latest work from Makeup & Hair Artist JESSICA VENTURI. Jessica has recently worked on editorials for GLOW MAG, VAN MAG and cover & features for ALBERTA VENTURE Magazine. Her celebrity shoots include beauty shots for ALI LIEBERT, MIA KIRSHNER for the L WORD, and ERIN KARPLUK for BEING ERICA. Jessica did the makeup and hair for the US advertising campaigns for FAMOUS FOOTWEAR, the DVD promos for RUNNERS’ YOGA and created all of the tattoo work for the hot 20-something characters featured in the iconic MENTOS ‘High Rider’ commercial. Jessica has been a well-known makeup & hair artist in Vancouver for 20 years. Jessica also is now on the other end of the camera, shooting portraiture with her partner in VENTURI-KARPA photo.

SONIA LEAL-SERAFIM‘s makeup & hair designs can be seen in the 2012 ad campaigns throughout the year for JANE IREDALE COSMETICS. Sonia worked alongside the Jane Iredale creative team and photographer DEXTER QUINTO to rebrand and create soft, natural looks for their global advertisements. Other campaigns include IRIS EYEWEAR, ALL BRAN, P&G SECRET, EA SPORTS, TELUS, SHAW, ROCKY MOUNTAINEER, JACK FM, BCAA, WORK BC, K+S GROUP in Regina and THE STEVE NASH FITNESS CLUB in Vancouver.

Sonia currently is working as the personal makeup artist to country star MARLEE SCOTT, having just wrapped Marlee’s upcoming video ‘TRAIN WRECK’ in Nashville with A-list Director ROMAN WHITE, as well as shooting all of her promo shots in Toronto. She also did the hair and makeup for THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF VANCOUVER, the rock band STATE OF SHOCK, Olympic gold medalist CLARA HUGHES and she teamed once again with STEVE NASH and brand ambassador & reality star MASHIAH VAUGHN.

Along with being the new makeup designer for JANE IREDALE, Sonia also continues her relationship with GIORGIO ARMANI COSMETICS as one of their MASTER FACES and presents for Armani as their guest speaker for beauty workshops at HOLT RENFREW.

Here is the first of an ongoing series of global ad campaign shots by photographer DEXTER QUINTO for JANE IREDALE COSMETICS. Dexter Quinto partnered once again to shoot for the completely rebranded, ‘natural look and feel’, for the 2012 beauty campaigns for Jane Iredale. Dexter Quinto, along with producer Gina Hole, brought the Boston-based Jane Iredale team to shoot in Toronto at S1 Studios. Of course that was the only week of rain on location in Toronto, so Dexter recreated beautiful spring, summer & African sunsets inside the studio with stunning results.

Collaborating alongside Dexter once again was Makeup & Hair Artist SONIA LEAL-SERAFIM, who was thrilled to be chosen as the makeup & hair brand designer, working closely with the Jane Iredale marketing team. Look out for many more magazine ads and promotions throughout 2012 for Jane Iredale.

Also Hair Stylist KATRINA MOLSON teamed with Sonia to create all of the beautifully soft hair styles for the campaigns, nice work Katrina!
