KATRINA MOLSON HAIR : BIO

Hair stylist Katrina Molson got her start by training with the AVEDA ACADEMY as well as under master stylist Hunter Mark McLeod (ARROJO STUDIO, New York) at the JOHN CASABLANCAS INSTITUTE.

Katrina has since enjoyed fully pursuing her career as a freelance hair stylist, working on numerous editorials, celebrity shoots, and ad campaigns. She is currently the personal hair stylist of musician SAM BRADLEY and his band. In addition, Katrina was commissioned to be a sponsored artist for ALES GROUP, PHYTO CANADA, which she worked in conjunction with leading her team of stylists for BC FASHION WEEK and the weeklong fashion shows for the 2010 VANCOUVER WINTER OLYMPICS.

A self-proclaimed ‘fashion-obsessed hair geek’, Katrina draws her greatest inspirations from her travels and experiences in Rome and London, and her shoots in New York. “I love creating wild and natural, free flowing texture in hair, really letting it come to life- never stifling it”.

Born and raised in North Vancouver, Canada, Katrina is a classically trained opera singer, starting at the age of eight years old, and also enjoys singing R&B and soul.
