Catherine got her start at the age of twenty-one as Fashion Director for Eaton’s, and twenty three years later she is not only one of Vancouver’s top stylists, but is also fashion & beauty editor for Lou Lou Magazine and Real Weddings. Catherine’s many talents can find her as creative director for editorials for her magazines, styling ad campaigns for national clients such as Hyundai, Canadian Airlines, Fairmont Hotels, Bootlegger, and Holt Renfrew, or producing shoots for Talbots, Silvertip Mountain Resort, and Showtime. When clients come to Vancouver to shoot their commercials they look to Catherine for her extreme knowledge of style and expertise, as did Bridgestone Tires (where she was the personal stylist to Mario Andretti), Ensure, Ford, Slimfast, and Ikea. May Company has also come back to Catherine for their commercials for her specialized expertise as a soft goods stylist.
In terms of personalities, Catherine has worked with Jessica Alba, Bo Derek, Alan Cumming, Tom Welling, and Nickelback, on shoots with photographers such as Julie Dennis Brothers, Justin Stephens, Isabel Snyder, Gregory Heisler, and Stewart Cohen. She in turn has been other editor’s first choice, working with magazines on fashion editorials and celebrity shoots for Entertainment Weekly, Men’s Health, Flare, Emmy, and TV Guide USA.
Although based in Vancouver, Catherine’s work keeps her busy traveling to Toronto, Montreal, New York, and even Prince Edward Island. When she’s not writing articles for a variety of publications, she can be seen as a guest expert on TV shows such as Good Morning Canada, The Shopping Bags, City TV, or MTV Canada. She has also worked as a guest stylist on the reality series Making It Big.
Catherine is a talented professional who brings her well-rounded perspective, as well as her hilarious sense of humor to each project - making her work thorough, creative and truly remarkable.
