Artists Booking Terms

Rates & Hours:
All of the artists' rates are subject to matter and usage.
Jobs can be booked by the day, or half-day. A 'day' is considered eight consecutive hours for print, ten consecutive hours for video and commercials. A 'half-day' is four consecutive hours for print, and five consecutive hours for video and commercials. Half-days are billed at seventy-five percent of the day rate. In some cases there are two hour bookings available.

Overtime is based on time and one-half after eight consecutive hours for print, or ten consecutive hours for video and commercials.

Prep time is billed at full rate, wrap time is billed at half rate.

Editorial:
The editorial rate applies when credit is given to both artist and THEY Representation Inc. If the credit is not given, then advertising rates applies.

Testing/Creative Shoots:
Unpaid photo shoots intended for promotional use, may not be sold for advertising without written consent from THEY Representation Inc.

Holds:
Clients may put an Artist on 'hold' (a possible booking on a particular day, or days). If a secondary hold is placed on that Artist from another client, then the first client has 24 hours to release the Artist from the original hold.

Travel-Time & Down-Days:
For down-days (non-working days on location), distant locations, and when travel exceeds the boundaries, then the half-day rates applies.

Expenses:
For distant location jobs, the client pays all expenses including vehicle mileage (when the artists use their own vehicle), taxis, airfares, meals and accommodations.

Cancellations:
Full rate will be charged for cancellations made within 24 hours. A half-day rate applies for cancellations made within 48 hours. A cancellation of several days bookings must be made the same number of days prior to the first booked day to avoid a full charge for the entire booking. If the agency turns down other work to make the artists available (i.e. releasing their 'hold' to a confirmed booking), and the agency notifies the client, then a 100% booking fee applies.

Weather Holds:
A half-day rate will be charged for weather cancellations with 24 hours notice, after 24 hours, full rate applies.
